Ashan is a licensed, trauma-informed psychologist who works with adolescents, adults, and older adults facing a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, mood disorders, stress-related difficulties, personality and psychotic disorders, grief and loss, procrastination, perfectionism, and self-esteem challenges.
She is well-informed in evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for grief and loss, Trauma-Focused ACT, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
